Liana Marie Sive is a writer, screenwriter, playwright, independent historian, and IRS Enrolled Agent based in Calais, Maine. Her original 113-page feature screenplay CASE 1638: RECALL won First Place in the 2026 Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition. She is the author of Wondrous Travels, The Schattendorf Echoes, The Unnamed Daughter, and Franz Marc: Religion, Art and Modern Europe. The illustrated Marc biography follows artistic freedom through religion, painting, economic arrangements, and Maria Marc’s independent work and judgment. English and German editions are in preparation with Kunstdorf Verlag. Sive studied European intellectual history at UC San Diego, social science and game theory at Caltech, and law and economics at Emory. Her writing spans love, European history, faith, satire, memory, and the people an institution’s account can leave behind.
